Ready For The Rock

What's up everyone,

It's Monday again and exactly one week since I last blogged. Can you believe it. Rockingham is this coming weekend and we are trying to get everything ready. When I got into town today we left for the shop and went to Sandy's garage around 4 pm . While Sandy removed decals I continued to load and stock the trailer. This brings us to were we left off last weekend discussing the new trailer.

Here is the brand spanking new slightly used but not abused truck and trailer combo. The trailer is a 1996, 49 foot Dynastar trailer. It has ten times the room as Sandy's other trailer. We have loaded everything from the other trailer and everything from the garage and we still have room. The car is kept upstairs as is the spare tires, awning and other misc. items. Below we have the golf cart and everything Sandy owns in all the C-Tech cabinets. Sandy felt that the trailer will allow him to serve his customers better with the ability to bring engines back and forth form his shop.

We did put the engine in this evening and fired it up. We ran through the gears and everything checked out fine. We put it in the trailer and actually finished up early tonight around 12:45 am. Sandy will pull out Thursday night headed for the Rock and I will show up around lunch on Friday. We plan on doing some testing Friday afternoon and learning the ends and outs of the new rig. What ever the outcome, we plan on having a good time this weekend. Come by and check us out. Hopefully in the winners circle.

Looking great in 08.

Don
