Glad Monday Is Over!!!

Hello Again,

Yea, I know. We haven't kept up the blog. Can you say busy. Flea has been busting it every day at the shop trying to get customers engines finished. He is on the phone alot in the mornings and assembling engines in the afternoons. When he is not there, he is at the garage at home working on the race car. That is Monday through Monday with an occasional social life. So he says he is ready for a little R & R at the race track.

That leads us to the new rig for the season. Sandy went out on a limb and purchased a slightly used but not abused truck and trailer. As you can see the truck is sweet but we love the trailer. That is next time. The truck gives Sandy more living space and also more ammentities. A definite step up from the little rig.

Why are we glad Monday is over? When I got into town we loaded up the engine around 6:30 and headed to his house to put it in. We left the midplate at the shop, so we decided to take the big rig for a practice run back to the shop. Never happened. Stuck in mud beside the shop. Flea was pissed. We worked an hour and half just to get the truck out. We made it back to the shop around 11 pm to finally put the engine in. Did I say he was pissed. LMAO. Maybe aggravated. You know Flea. He has a permenant smile. With time being a precious commoditie, we do not need any unexpected delays.

As you can see, the pic of the car is right before we installed the engine. The Rockingham divisional is less than two weeks away. We are still waiting on the transmission, the tires, and a few other items. Donations greatly appreciated! Like all other racers, we will problaly finish up right before we leave for the track. Hopefully we can do a little R & R at the Rock.

We will try to do better with our blogging. Bear with us. If you have any comments, email sandy on his homepage or contact me at don@carolinatools.com.
